1. Some Swelling and Bruising Could Occur

Don’t plan to have injections right before an important meeting or event, because with any kind of needle injection, you’re likely to have some mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising on the first day, even though you’ll be able to resume most of your normal activities.

2. Take the Pressure Off

To get the best results and maximize the length of your fillers, try to avoid touching or manipulating the treatment area. If you apply too much pressure to your lips, you could interfere with the work that your injector has done by agitating the filler too much.

3. Wait on Going to the Gym

Strenuous exercise is another thing you should avoid for a brief time after having lip fillers (or any type of fillers). Avoid any intense exercise for the first 24 hours, as it could cause increased blood flow to the area, making any swelling and bruising worse.
