After Implants: Recovering from Your Breast Augmentation Procedure
Once you’ve had your breast augmentation surgery, you should have someone pick you up from the surgical center, as you won’t be able to drive home. You may be uncomfortable during the first three or four days after surgery, so you may be provided with pain medication. You’ll need to wear compression garments for at least three weeks to help minimize swelling and bruising.
We usually recommend that patients have at least a week of meals and help scheduled out immediately after their surgical procedure, as this time needs to be spent resting and recovering.
By week five or six, you should be enjoying your breast augmentation results!
