The surgery begins with an anesthesiologist administering medicine that puts you to sleep. This will ensure that you will feel nothing during the procedure.

Our surgeon then forms pockets in the breasts to house the implants. The implants are then placed, and our surgeon will make sure that your breasts lay nicely on the chest wall.

Once the desired position and size of the implants is achieved, you are then wrapped up in a dressing known as a surgical bra and taken into the recovery room. There, you will wake up from the anesthetic and get your bearings.

A trusted friend or family member can usually take you home within a few hours.

Recovering from Breast Enhancement Surgery

You will be given a prescription for pain control medication to use during your recovery period. For the first few days, you may experience moderate discomfort. You will need someone to drive you to your follow-up visit with our surgeon to make sure all is going well.

You should be back to work within six weeks. If you are athletic or like to work out, it may take an additional few weeks after that to get back into an active lifestyle.
