Vaser Liposculpture follows a similar process as with traditional liposuction surgery. However, instead of the plastic surgeon using manual force to break up fat tissue, Vaser Liposculpture uses ultrasound energy to liquefy the fat. This ultrasound energy is delivered via the cannula tip right to the fat tissue, making it a precise way to target the treatment area.

SmartLipo uses laser heat energy to break up and liquefy fat tissue at the targeted treatment site. Like with Vaser Liposculpture, the goal of SmartLipo is to help remove stubborn fat tissue without creating the kind of bleeding, swelling, and bruising that can happen with manual fat tissue removal.
